Darth Vader

This is Darth painted in. I did all the painting of the figure, while mom did the quicky ship he is stepping out of. Again, I took the pose from a book of Dark Horse graphic novel/comic art. I graphed it out and used the grid to keep proportions right. I did not do all the detailing, though, as I am not that skilled with the brush. I did manage to mix about five different colors of gray, though. The light color is actually gray, not white. No white on Darth. The saber is covered with a paint that should glow in black light. Jenny doesn't have a black light for the kids, but the paint, because it's so thin, looks like it's glowing. I like the look. We added those little glow in the dark stars and planets above Darth and Yoda. Sort of pointless because the boys always sleep with the light on. Don't know how they stand it! Took about two days from beginning to end to get him done. He is about 4x4 feet, by the way, next to Spidey. Spidey actually separates Yoda from Darth, and the two 'enemies' do indeed look like they are fighting one another, with Spidey the 'fly on the wall'.
