Inuyasha

Ok, another night, another Lord of the Rings installment... The Two Towers, and another charcoal drawing

The third in a series of my favorite characters. They won't all be anime, by the way, but for now they have been. Inuyasha is pretty much how I got addicted to adult swim. Mom has been buying me the DVD's as well. Got 'em up to volume 18, but haven't had the time to sit and watch the original Japanese. Also am collecting the manga and keep up over on ear-tweak every week. One of my favorites. I have more fave charatcers from Inuyasha, by the way. Can't do Inuyasha without Sesshomaru, now can I? Might do him tonight... (oh the innuendo!)

Size is 11"x14". Materials: condensed charcoal: 2B and 6B black, white stick; kneaded eraser, pink pearl rubber eraser, medium vine black; fingers for smudging! Yeah! Dirty fingers!!! Method is charcoal reduction: you blacken in the page and then "erase" in the details. So much easier than trying to draw straight with the charcoal. But it is very very very messy.

This has to be the most white charcoal I've ever used. He sure does have a lot of white hair.
