Ohio Stadium Panorama II by AreteEirene Ohio Stadium Panorama II by AreteEirene
I couldn't resist myself.

Ohio Stadium, OSU vs. Akron (? - I don't remember now), 2007. This is looking North at the horseshoe. It was the first time I ever sat in South Stands.

It rained during the game. But I managed to get these shots when the sun came back out and it got all humid. :bleh:

10 photos stitched. I filled in a bit of the sky at the top - you can see where the lines are. ^^; I didn't want to crop out the sides of the horseshoe so I just filled in the blank spots in the bottom corners with black. There's some breakage in the press box. I didn't notice it at first. :(

I like the super bright endzones.

That's an awesome panoramic shot! The errors are hardly noticeable, except the empty black spots.

Thank you. :D

I wish I didn't have the blank areas, but I had to decide to cut off the edges or deal with them, so I went with deal with them.

This was the only time I've ever sat in south stands. It was a bit different to be over there.

:#1: Go Bucks!

Thank you! :D We had pretty good seats for that game. I was worried because I had never sat in south stands before.

I grew up outside of Youngstown, so I know some KSU alums. :#1:

I've always found Youngstown people to have a New England-ish sort of accent.

For that game my dad and I just drove in and out, we didn't walk around the stadium at all, since we came from Youngstown that morning. ^^;

That was the first time I sat in south stands. I've sat just about everywhere else, too, except up in B deck. Mostly I've sat in the round end and up in C deck around the 40 yard line.

A lot different than my high school. We didn't even have ANYTHING in the endzone. No lettering at all. XD

I don't remember what my HS field looked like. We did have a big scoreboard that was paid for by Coke, though.

How large was your high school/town? Our scoreboard was paid by Coke, too, but it wasn't that huge. Fairly good size, though, at least for high schools around here.

Austintown Fitch had a student population of just about 2,000 when I was a student. Austintown itself is suburb and is somewhere between 35,000-40,000 people now, I think. Mahoning County has just about 250,000 people total. Nothing compared to Franklin or Cuyahoga counties (Columbus and Cleveland, respectively), but still fairly dense.

Wow, that's huge. Yeah, it's a bit different for me. My school from 7-12th grade had a student population of a little under 200. My whole town had a population of roughly 1,200 people. Did your football team actually have a stadium type thing to play in?

Well, we had permane t stands that could hold a few thousand people. Not quite what I'd call a stadium, considering what I'm used to for "stadium" :lmao: but I guess you could call it that. We also had a fancy new-at-the-time rubber track, so they always held regionals at Fitch.

Would it frighten you if I mentioned that Boardman, the rival school, was even bigger - closer to 3,000 students? I usually had to go there to take tests (SAT, ACT), and it made my eyes googly. But I am aware that my HS is bigger than a bunch of universities.
