Willie Weenie Braves the Snow by AreteEirene Willie Weenie Braves the Snow by AreteEirene
I swear my aunt has actually named this cat Willie Weenie. Perhaps that's why he's so surly.

He's the kind of kitty who always wants out and will bolt as soon as the door is opened. Today he tried very hard to find a way up into the woods but ended up just walking around the house and coming back in the porch door. We have over a foot of snow, you see. But he wanted to try anyway.

He is an all white cat but he is also always filthy. I swear his favorite pastime is rolling around in dirt and soot and grass and anything else that will turn his white coat various shades of brown and green. Silly kitty.

Willie is no longer using stealth mode and has gone to crotchety...

Crotchety Kitty shall now go beat down that snowman hunting in his lawn.

Willie is really a one cat household type of cat; he doesn't like all our other cats usurping his place. He does like to wrestle with the kitten, though, which is good because she wants to wrestle 24/7.

I know that one lol...the battleaxe was until she found a kitten she loved to cuddle. And that's cute...kittens wrestling is adorable.

he's cute...our cat binks did about the same thing today except he circled the house and then decided we weren't coming fast enough so he climbed up to the roof and had to be let in the window.

He's a little kitty betch is what he is. You can only pet him on the head or he'll nail you. :giggle:

The only climber we have, that I know of, is Dumble from next door. He gets in and out of the garage even when the door's closed, which means he's going out onto the roof somehow. Grumble mumble idiot cat...

I take no responsibility for the naming of this cat. He's not a very nice cat, so perhaps it's an appropriate name.

He just walked around the house and asked to be let in the back door. The snow is so deep now it's not really possible for them to get lost, because they can't really get away from the house. It's over their head now, it's so deep.

yeah that sounds scary to a wee willie weenie let alone a human if s/he walked out his door to see s/he's up to their eyeballs in snow.

You're cats always look so majestic.

Which is tough with a name like Willie Weenie. ;P

Maybe I should post some of them being silly kitties. :giggle:

He is a weenie. He only wants to be pet on the head or else he claws you; he gets into fights with the other cats just because he can. Bad kitty.

You're going to lose that white cat in the snow. One good drift and it is all over...

 That could be true. One little avalanche off our hill...

It's an extremely wet snow, though, so it's not moving or drifting. It is falling from the trees, though. I got nailed the other day pretty good. :snowing:

You know there's a little squirrel up in those trees just waiting for you, so it can launch a sowball right at your head.

I think it's the trees themselves out to get us. They like to dump their branches on our heads. :noes:

Most of the kitties refused to leave the garage, or only ventured out a few steps before running back inside. It's not exactly kitty friendly weather.

No, it's not. But it sure is funny to watch them. My one cat Lady is notorious for trying to run outside. Last winter, she didn't realize there was cold and there was snow on the ground and ran out real fast. As fast as she ran out, she ran right back in with an "OMG-It's cold!" look on her face. It was so funny to watch.

Our Harry has been acting like that. He's miserable stuck in the house but when given the opportunity to go out he bolts right back in. Poor little old guy. He'll be happy when it's springtime!

Hahahaha, my black cat Loki SWEARS to us he wanted out this weekend, so we tossed him out in the snow...I heard a MRROWWWW! and a streak of black as he came bolting back in the house. =D He loves to roll around in anything gray himself, I swear the do it to us to be ornery!

Willie actually walked all the way around the house, sticking to the area under the eave which doesn't have much snow. Later one of the garage kitties wandered out and came to the back porch, too. Silly kitties.

I cant even count how many times Willie has shown up so dirty he isn't white anymore and we always ask "where in the world have you been?" but he never answers. Bad kitty.

I swear, if I had the space and money to feed them, I'd have bunches and bunches of cats they're just so entertaining! But really? Loki would probably hate me forever if I brought another cat into the mix. He already gets so jealous of Butters because he's a Mommy's Boy. =D
