Wishes in Stitches by AreteEirene Wishes in Stitches by AreteEirene
The cross stitch I have been working on for the past four years! All done! :squee:

Only thing left to do is get it framed. When I do I will repost the framed version.

For the life of me I could not get the oil stains off the left hand side. Sadness. I think in my attempt to get them out I may have washed some of the color out of the canvas. Oops.

This was a kit I bought five or six years ago at the Magic Kingdom. I made some minor adjustments and made one huge mistake that I fudged to fix. Wanna guess where it was?

I have numerous works in progress in my scraps if you're interested.

The error: The third tower (From left to right) has the fourth towers cross as well.

That was part of the pattern, so maybe the pattern artist made a mistake?

The error is actually the green firework. I had to double it up because I got about 10 stitches off as I went around the center. :shh:

This is beautiful. I'm also working on a huge Tinkerbell pattern that I bought at Disney 2 years ago. Doesn't it feel great to finish a big project!

It is finally done! All I can suggest is to scrub the living daylights out of your hands with plenty of soap to avoid having any oil on your hands. For the color, is it possible to blend in a prisma marker or a bit of dye?

I thought about using a prisma or sharpie. It would depend on if we could find one that is close enough in color. :plotting:
