Aladdin for Rosanna

Someone flaked out on ~Rosanna for the Secret Santa project I had running over at =DisneyDreamers, and so when I assigned the swings I assigned ~Rosanna to myself, because, well, one of the things she said she'd like would be a "smexy Aladdin" and that sounded like something I'd like to try.

Not sure if I succeeded but I like him and I hope ~Rosanna thinks he's smexy enough.

Anyhoo... the particulars:

Method: Charcoal Reduction [link]
Materials: 4B and 6B condensed black charcoal, medium black vine charcoal, 2B black charcoal pencil, white charcoal pencil, kneaded rubber eraser, pink pearl plastic eraser, fingers for smudging and blending, Lava soap for clean-up
Size: 11"x14"
Time: Just about 2 hours. Fastest charcoal piece ever, I think.
Notes: Reference used but not copied exactly. I used it especially for the pose of the head. Piece was photographed before being fixed; the fixative will significantly darken the blacks. I initially wanted to do an angry Aladdin but I thought maybe just because I find angry men sexy doesn't mean anyone else would. So I tried a smile instead. I think he came out kind of shy looking. I need to practice smiles more, I think.
